Clarinet and Saxophone Teacher
Burch Johnson has been associated with music for over fifty years, his recent activities include: Eight years as leader and arranger for the West Bourbon Street Chamber Music Society dixieland band, seventeen years as leader of the Moonlight Swing Orchestra 1940’s swing band, member of the Lake Winds Woodwind Quintet, and the Sky Valley Wind Ensemble.
Besides offering a varied curriculum in classical, jazz, blues, and dixieland genres, he encourages his students to bring in their current school band projects.
Burch Johnson offers private instruction for clarinet, bass clarinet, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, and accordion.
